Hot Tint

Great experience from start to finish! The staff was friendly, professional, and took their time making sure everything was done right. The tint came out clean with no bubbles or imperfections, and the car looks so much better. The process was quick, the price was reasonable, and the quality of the work was excellent. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get their windows tinted!

If you are thinking about using a Groupon at Hot Tint Speed & Sound, BEWARE of the hidden fees and toxic customer service. I deeply regret coming here. I was actually considering going to Insta Tints, where you can remove and reapply your tint whenever you want, but I chose this shop instead thinking I would save a bit of money. It was a total scam. They lured me in with a $99 deal but forced me to pay an extra $35.47 at the register for 'shop supplies' and 'quarter windows'. When I asked what those extra $35 were for, the receptionist (Leah) exchanged a shady look with the owner and made a face behind my back, treating me like I was being a nuisance just for asking a simple question about my money. The installer (Freddy) was just as awful. I spent hours cleaning almost all the old glue myself at home. There was just a tiny residue left, but he tried to extort an extra $70 from me to wipe it. When I declined, he told me it was going to look bad because I didn't want to pay, and he proceeded to slap the new film right over the glue out of spite, ruining the finish. They even wrote a defensive note on the invoice to cover their backs and void my warranty. This shop cares more about p

I’ve worked with Hot Tints and Sound many times in the past and always had great experiences, so I assumed this visit would be the same. I was happy to schedule tinting and a remote start installation. Unfortunately, my experience walking through the door this time was immediately negative. I understand I was 39 minutes late, but the front desk representative (Lady with Silver/Platinum hair) repeatedly emphasized how important their time was, without considering other factors like traffic. The constant badgering made the situation uncomfortable and unprofessional. Ultimately, I decided to leave because the interaction didn’t feel respectful or customer-focused. This is not the best way to treat a returning client who has had positive experiences before. In the past, worked with Will and it was amazing. If there’s any doubt about my history with this business, I have receipts showing three or four cars that I’ve had tinted with them in the past.

During the pandemic, I purchased a classic van. It came without a stereo; the previous owner removed it. I had a small budget for something temporary so I purchased a Pioneer unit on Amazon. Afterwards, I contacted Hot Tint. They responded to me that day and told me to stop by the shop. I made an appointment for later that week. When I arrived, I asked them to install the unit and a backup camera. I can't recall how much time it took but it was done in a reasonable amount of time and I'm happy with their service. I called a few other shops around this time. A couple had other projects and couldn't get to me for a few months. A couple of others didn't want to touch the van because of its age, manufactured in 1989. Hot Tint was straight-forward. They said let them see what I have and they'll let me know if they could use what I had or needed something else. I appreciate that approach. I did problems but they were responsive. While driving home, my radio rebooted twice. The cable came loose so they told me to return to the shop so that they could fix it. The second is my clock resets to 12:00 every time the vehicle is restarted. They told me to bring it by so that they can fix it bu
